Kathryn LaSala

Kathryn studied history and art in college, dipping a few toes into the realm of museums before diving head first into library science. This may account for the many research side quests she indulges in while drafting, though it hardly excuses the obscure references littered within her works. Her non-writing hours are dedicated to documenting the twists of politics and the dramatic turns in civic life as a city recorder. She primarily writes fantasy tomes, but likes to experiment with normal-sized novels and short tales in other genres when inspiration strikes.

Summer Khoten

I had never written a poem until experiencing 7 days of temporary blindness. As a lifelong lover and creator of visual arts, being unsure if or when my sight would return was terrifying, but in that darkness I discovered the vibrant world of poetry and creative writing, and have been pursing it as a tool for inner healing ever since.

Summer is currently working on a book of poetry and hopes her words may lift others out of their own personal darkness, as it had with hers.

Emily Potter’s obsession with storytelling began in childhood, starting with scribbles and doodles and eventually clacking out her first novel (never to be resurrected) on a typewriter in the 80s.
