It takes a team to write and publish a book. It definitely takes one to run a successful writing business. I’m so grateful for those with whom I get to work in various capacities with Storm Dragon Publishing. With that in mind, I’d like to introduce you to our team below!
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT SUPERVISOR – ROWAN
Rowan is the senior emotional support supervisor. He makes certain that Draco is on task writing by sleeping between his legs on the couch and not allowing him to leave until he has at least made his daily writing goal…and many times much longer than that. While this isn’t healthy for Draco’s bladder, he does get a lot of writing completed.
Rowan also enjoys rubbing his face on Draco’s beard, playing hide and seek, and hunting down mice. He sleeps in the sunshine as much as he can and hunts birds from the windows.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT SUPERVISOR – PERSEPHONE
Persephone is the junior emotional support supervisor. She makes certain that Draco is on task writing by eating nearby and then sitting on his lap, purring louder than a tank before returning to her food and repeating the process. It’s more than adorable enough to keep Draco at his computer writing.
Persephone also enjoys attacking Rowan when he’s doing anything that isn’t playing with her, but most importantly when he’s sleeping contently. She chases root beer bottle caps and growls at anyone who attempts to touch her yellow bell toy when she shows it to them.
PAGETURNER (SDP BETA READER) & ARTIST – CRYSTAL SORG
When I’m not working on my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), I love to read and cuddle with my cats. I’m a hobbyist by nature trying out any hobby or art that even mildly interests me from jigsaw puzzles to stained-glass. Some of the art forms that have stuck with me include crocheting, watercolor painting, and the couple I mentioned before. One of my proudest projects was a crochet dragon I created.
ARTISAN – HAVEN HEIMANN
Hi! I’m Haven. A mother to 3 kids that I made myself. I love to keep busy by creating with my hands. Creating has been such a therapeutic outlet for me. It gives my mind and body the space to share parts of me without words. I also enjoy loving on dogs, wandering around the woods, watching my kids learn new things, and cheesecakes of all kinds!
VIDEOGRAPHER/PHOTOGRAPHER – TY HEIMANN
Hey, I’m Ty – a husband and dad who loves freezing moments in time with my camera. When I’m not doing that, you’ll catch me wandering around nature, creating and listening to music, or mountain biking. Overall, I love relaxing and enjoying the simple stuff in life.
