Inspired since childhood by J.R.R. Tolkien, Dungeons and Dragons, and video games such as Everquest and World of Warcraft, Thom Wilson has always been captivated by fantasy worlds and tales of adventure. A full-time bartender and father, Thom now writes fantasy stories of his own—like his debut novel, The Brewmaster’s Nephew—whenever he can carve out the time. He lives on Vancouver Island, Canada, with his wife, son, and two dogs.

Dan Rafter

Dan Rafter has worked as a writer for more than 30 years, though mostly as a nonfiction journalist who has been published in publications such as the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Mental Floss Magazine, Phoenix Magazine and many others.
He’s just getting started in fiction writing. Last year, his short story The Billiken was published in Curbside Curses: The Yardsale Anthology. His short story The Untarget is slated to be published later this year by the Tales to Terrify podcast.

Patricia Pedraza-Nafziger

Raised an Air Force brat, Patricia resided in the US and abroad before settling in the Puget Sound region of Washington State. Following an extensive information technology career in the aerospace industry, she now teaches IT courses and is delighted to be a part of her students’ academic success. As an avid reader of sci-fi, horror, mystery, and thrillers, Patricia also finds satisfaction and creative enrichment in writing and is pursuing an MA in Writing at Johns Hopkins University. Michael Betancourt is originally from the United States specifically the Rio Grande Valley in DEEP South Texas. When you reach San Antonio you still have 4 hours further South to drive before reaching the RGV. Which after that the only place to go is either the Gulf of Mexico or actual Mexico. Michael is a proud Geek that fell into writing by way of D&D, Saturday Morning Cartoons, and Comic Books. He currently creates events for a living when he is not talking to the voices in his head and writing down their misadventures. Michael holds a BA in Public Relations and Advertising, a MA in Communication from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and is pursuing a PHD in Mythological Studies and Folklore by way of Pacifica Graduate Institute.

Mike Rusetsky is a Ukrainian-American author of horror, urban fantasy and speculative fiction. He started out as a playwright, with his original one-act productions Angel of Death and The Plight of Smitty earning critical praise. His recent publications include the short story “The Christmas Wish” (published in the festive horror anthology Christmas Chaos by Outsider Publishing)and his flash story “Cry Uncle”(published in the anthology Year Six by Black Hare Press). Natalie Cooper is a Child/Family Educator who spends her days working with families and her nights engaging in various creative endeavours including writing poetry, short stories and creating digital art. Natalie’s writing has appeared in Storm Dragon Publishing’s 2024 Anthology titled Dragon Dreams, the 24th issue of Gemszine, Monash University’s 2023 Literary Journal Verge, Mudgee Valley Writers 2022 Anthology, Paper Road magazine and Positive Words magazine.
