Storm Dragon Publishing (SDP) is excited to assist authors not only in publishing them but also in helping prepare for their own publications. That’s why we offer proof reading services to authors writing in the genres of fantasy fiction and science fiction.
What is proof reading though? Proof reading is the final pass of editing before a book is ready for publication or to be sent off to an agent, depending on if you are publishing traditionally or independently. It’s there to ensure that no pesky errors slipped through the earlier editing processes. It’s the layer of polish that allows your book to truly shine and stand out from the rest.
One of the reasons that SDP offers proof reading is because this last edit should always be completed by someone other than who performed the earlier forms of editing. We take this service seriously as we are invested in helping you make your book the best it can be by keeping errors from getting in the way of your storytelling.
Rate: $10 per 1000 words
To help you with the math, that is $1 per 10 words. For example, if you write a book composed of 80,000 words you would pay $800.
